Thanksgiving

Be thankful for each day.
My mom has had a bury her son.
I have had to bury my dad.
My niece has had to bury her mom.
All of these make you see how short life is and how we need to enjoy each day as we have them.
Please be thankful this holiday season.

Thanksgiving break

My son is home and so am I. Today we have our family meal with my brother. My mom and son put up some of the Christmas decorations (bah humbug).

Tomorrow I have off too, but I will be at my part-time 2nd job. Not bad. I don't do black Friday shopping.... Worked retail 4 years..., no way do i shop that day. People can be idiots all year long, but they take it up a notch or two on Black Friday!

The last two days, all my son rambles on about is video games. I try to listen, but the voice in my head screams "I DON'T CARE!"

Oh well, it's another day....

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my followers!
May you have a safe, happy, and enjoyable holiday!

It's FINALLY Friday!!!

It has been such a long week... short work week, holiday, Friday off... man, I am so messed up on what day this is.

I am not one to shop on Black Friday, but my son got to me. Okay, we went... at 7am. No way was I planning on 5 am... nope... no way... besides he was still snoring.

Anyway, we went to a couple stores, went and worked out, came home with two bags of daily items and holiday-flavored Starbucks! It still cost me close to $100.

Oh well, so much for Thanksgiving... next stop... Christmas! Bah Humbug!

Thanksgiving

We made it through Thanksgiving. It was a small group of 5 of us. We ate and it was over in about two hours.

The turkey was good, along with mashed potatoes, corn, and apple pie (which I KNOW my mom DIDNT bake!)

I'm not big at holidays so this is a long episode for me. My son is big with holidays and I'm kinda the Grinch. (Although I'm not tall and green with a scruffy dog).

I just want to wish everyone a happy holiday and a special day with family and friends.

Happy Thanksgiving

Just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.

May you enjoy time with your family and friends.
