Has anyone gone to the next level and written a book?

I'm getting the bug to want to take the next step... Just need some guidance.

To write... or not to write...

I have been tossing around the idea of doing some writing.

I have gone through so many things. Even a good friend of mine was amazed when I poured some more info out, as she did not expect it.

She was amazed that there is so much I haven't talked about. I have hidden stories and chapters of my life.

I would like to sit down and write. People would be surprised. But I don't know where to start.

Do anyone have any thoughts, ideas, or suggestions they want to share with me on this?
