A new day... although half-over

It is Friday... and here I am.
All is good. I feel good... except for being sore from working two jobs yesterday, but all is good.
Hope everyone is having a great afternoon.

Lottery

OK. Stopped to get coffee and a few lottery tickets. $1 short. Put $0.98 coffee on debit card. Left one ticket behind to get change from my car. Spilled my coffee. Came in with change. Lady bought the ticket. Bought quick pick instead. Either neither will win, my QP will win.... or my original numbers will win. You can bet I'm gonna be watching!!!!

It is FINALLY Friday...

Well, it has definitely been a long week.

My son left on Sunday for a Mission Trip with 14 other kids... and three adults... in 3 cars.... driving 2.5 hours... in 90-degree weather.

From what I am hearing... the kids are kinda cranky because the heat is hot and there is no breeze.

He comes home tonight and I am happy. I have totally missed him.

This week has gone so slow.

Mentally I am burnt out... physically... I am too....

TGIF!!

Struggling to fit in... and

This has been along week and I feel like a bull in a china shop... there is so much going on around me and it is making me spin uncontrollably. I don't know which way I am going or when all this will stop. I do know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but it's one LONG f'n tunnel! I feel like I'm struggling. I am fighting to keep my head above water to keep myself from drowning. Have you ever noticed that when there is light at the end of the tunnel, and you can see it, every one of those small pot holes you used to walk over suddenly seem to be everywhere and it's getting pretty frustrating constantly having to walk over or around them. When you suddenly know the little things are not right... it makes the whole situation out of sorts. When you are in a comfort zone, nothing is too major, you live with it, do what you have to, and continue to move forward. When you make that move, everything so small is a pain and pisses me off. I don't know what way I am going anymore...

1. Will you run to the store or to pick up a kid looking a mess? Not a COMPLETE mess, but kinda a mess!

2. Do you finish a book if it's boring or you don't like it? Nope...

3. Beach or mountain vacations? Haven't really been on either, so I have nothing to compare.

What Is Your Biggest Blogging Goal Right Now?

I am a mom and a college student.
I want to grow my blog and my share my mommy
experiences with others.

Five Questions Friday

1. What have you done recently that you are proud of?

Gotten my Black Belt in TaeKwondo side by side with my son

2. What is your favorite way to work out? Or if you don't workout, what are you wanting to try?

I enjoy taekwondo and lifting weights

3. If you knew your best friend was cheating on spouse would you tell?

I guess it depends on the whole situation

4. If you could afford a live-in maid or nanny, would you have one?

Nah, don't think so.

5. Do you stress out about birthdays (specifically the age) or do you enjoy them?

Just another day... no biggie
