Life Sucks Sometimes

I am going to school, on-line, to better myself.
I ended up in the hospital and the school doesn't have an excused absence policy, so had I been in the hospital too long, I probably would flunk, which would then cost me $1100 per class to retake.
How sucky!
I hate life sometimes!

41 Year old Mom who just faced death

My day went well on Wednesday, I worked, I ate dinner, and I started my homework. Suddenly my eyes started itching and I started sneezing. My throat started to get tight.

I couldn't breathe and I had no idea what was happening. My mom took me to the ER and they plugged me with IV's and drugs, breathing treatments and steroids. Turns out to be an allergic reaction to my blood pressure medication I have been on for over two years.

They had a choice - either put me in a drug-induced coma to get tubes down my throat or take me under and insert a trac tube. I remember them rolling me into ICU Wednesday and didn't wake up until Saturday morning.

Talk about a scare - not knowing what happened, what caused it, if it will happen again, did they finds the right cause, when will be my time.

You never know when it will be your time, but God will know and will make sure he is there with you.

Little annoyances

Have you ever experienced those little things that drive you absolutely crazy? Like the person who leaves their cell on their desk and then you keep hearing the reminder beep? How about the person in the next room who keeps clicking the mouse? What about listening to someone text on their phone with the clicking sounds turned on? Aarrgghh! Sound overload!

Carbs

Our family has weight issues and my 13 year old can live on carbs. My own body can't handle them. How do I slow his obsession to slow the weight gain? Any ideas?

I am NOT obsessive... Or am I?

I am someone who has a routine... And when it is messed with, I get weird. If you need me to see something, show me, don't just lay it on the table. I am to busy running in circles to notice one sheet of paper! Tell me, don't assume I know. Quit following me around. What do you want from me? Talk to me.

Hovering

You ask me to do something for you. I am willing to help, but just back up. Quit standing over my shoulder. Quit hovering over me. Back off! You have no idea how you drive me nuts when I feel you over my shoulder, behind me. Don't take this the wrong way, but go the hell away until i'm done!

Has your child ever feared anyone in your family?

I am faced with a sticky situation. My child has gotten to be deathly afraid of one individual in our family. This person has become verbally-abusive towards him, along with occasional hits and slaps. He feels afraid and doesn't understand why this is happening to him. She tells me that he attacks her and tries to hurt her, which has never been noticed. She gets angry with me because I don't believe her.

I am so confused and concerned. I feel that there is something mentally going on, but I can't just walk up to her and tell her to have an evaluation done.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this? I feel like I am trapped.
