Amazing 3D Fiberlash Mascara

Review:

I am more of a tomboy and not big on makeup.

I wear contacts so that's the 2nd strike.

I was asked to try a new mascara from Younique.

Awesome product! All natural. Washes off with soap and water, not going back! No flaking or smudging. LOVE IT!!!!

Check this awesome mascara out! One set, if used daily, will last 2-3 months!

the duty of grocery shopping

I go grocery shopping, I have my routine, I do things a certain way, I go at a certain pace, and let me tell you.... After taking my son along today, my routine does not include a 2nd person!!!! On my heels. Bitching because I'm walking too fast, or because I keep stopping. Yep, grocery shopping is a one-person job.. mine... Just me.... It's been a long time since he has gone shopping with me... And after today... It was be another long time until it happens again!!!!!!

No MiniVan, but four-doors

Okay, I love my little 2-door sports car, with sun-roof and all the other fun stuff... but, as before, my 2-door fun-mobile soon gets outgrown by everyone but me, so once again... we go back to the 4-door model.

I had a 2-door Mazda when I was pregnant... that was my "mommy mobile" and "family ride". My brother teased me, but I loved my little car. If I can still get in and out of it, I am gonna keep pedaling it!

It died, finally (insert hysterical sobbing). I had to shop... yuck! Okay, so, 2-door Celica here I come... sun roof, tunes, cool-looking, white with chrome, sharp... but even less of a "family ride" than my Mazda. Lasted a year before my mom and son outgrew it... neither could ride comfortably and no one else was gonna drive it.

Boo hoo... okay, 4-doors and trunk... guess I can adjust... for 2 years... and then another 4-door for 3 more years... and another for 3 years. Guess it's not TOOOOOOO bad.

Okay, then it was time for my 2-door again... sporty, sunroof, spoiler, cool, fun... for 2 years... until, once again, the family outgrew it... my son's head hits the ceiling in the back seat and my mom and her hip surgery can't get in and out of the car well. AARRGGHH!

Well, God must have been looking over us, along with all our finances and aches and pains. We got a letter from the dealership and they were willing to trade our car early. (2 years early of the lease). My mom said to look into it, couldn't hurt, could be cheaper.

Okay, so we were going to the grocery store Saturday and ended up at the dealership. (That is now the new running joke in our house... I went to get bread and milk and came home with a car!)  I drove home with a new car... 4-doors, truck space, leg room, head room, mom can get in and out, my son's head doesn't scratch the ceiling, and the payments are lower. (so is the insurance)

I can do this... it's a cool car, my son thinks it's neat.. it's a "hip mom car", I can blue-tooth my phone through the car, so it's hands-free (one less thing for mom to growl about), better gas mileage...

okay, I can do this 4-door car...

for a few years anyway...

Bloggy Mom - Blog Dare 01.04.12

Wednesday January 4, 2012
What I shouldn't have bought this holiday season.

I didn't buy much - I bought gifts for my son and my mom.
Maybe I bought my son more than I needed to, but so what.
Oh wait - I bought myself a new pair of black jeans.
My boss tends to frown when I wear pants that include build-in air-conditioning!!!
I don't buy myself pants very often because I HATE shopping for clothes. I HATE trying on clothes. The whole situation depresses me.....

Being decorative... and in fashion

CHECK THIS OUT...

Are you ready to start the new year, with a new look?  I know I am and one of my new year's resolutions has been (for many years) to be more organized... but it just doesn't seem to happen.

But look what I found while checking the ads... (I'm an office-supply junkie... sorry).

But maybe... check out this cool rolling file cabinet. What is easier than being able to "roll" your stuff around with you? I guess that's my big thing. I might be in my room, or in the livingroom, or even in the kitchen, but my papers are never with me. I guess this might solve the problem.

This decorative file cabinet had a storage drawer on the top. The file drawer has hanging file folder rods for letter-size files (which is really all I use). The top is both decorative and can be used for additional storage. This unit had 5 casters and is lightweight and durable. I found it ready to assemble and all the fasteners are hidden.

What could be better than an organizational cabinet that you can keep handy, when you need it?

It's FINALLY Friday!!!

It has been such a long week... short work week, holiday, Friday off... man, I am so messed up on what day this is.

I am not one to shop on Black Friday, but my son got to me. Okay, we went... at 7am. No way was I planning on 5 am... nope... no way... besides he was still snoring.

Anyway, we went to a couple stores, went and worked out, came home with two bags of daily items and holiday-flavored Starbucks! It still cost me close to $100.

Oh well, so much for Thanksgiving... next stop... Christmas! Bah Humbug!

Black Friday

My son went shopping last year and thinks it's cool. I, on the other hand, do not find it "cool". I have never shopped on this day and have never had a desire to ever do that. I worked retail too many years to have the urge to deal with pushy, crabby people, before the sun even comes up.

We are yet to see if we go tomorrow.

Hell, I might as well stay up and go at midnight. Yeah, right.

We will see...

Office supplies, shoes, and purses

All of the above... Infatuated with them all. Cannot get enough. New, exciting, something different, but picky!
