Mama Kat's Writing Prompt... Is your child a morning person?
Oh yes, most definitely... morning person all the way.
I am bad... if I sleep past 6am, then something is wrong. He is the same. He is up early and ready to go. He even manages to wake and then wake everyone else up, to find out what we want for breakfast. Even when he stays at his friend's house, he is a slumber party's worst nightmare... they stay up till 2 or 3 am and he is still up by 6 (7 at the latest). Everyone else sleeps in... but not him.
His normal time on Saturday is about 6:30 or 7:00 am. He makes coffee and then starts asking what we want for breakfast. He is willing to go all out -pancakes, fried eggs, toast, coffee... you name it, he'll accommodate.
During the week, he gets up with me at 5am and gets his shower and makes breakfast before seeing me off to work.
Wow. That sounds opposite of my children. I would like to see how that would be for a while. At least on a school day.
ReplyDeleteAll my kids are morning people too... it doesn't make me very happy.
ReplyDeleteThat was one of my sons for a while. We had to convince him that he was not allowed to make noise or to leave his room for any reason other than to use the bathroom before the sun was up. This doesn't help as much in the summer, but at least it snags us a little bit more time for part of the year. Stopping by from Mama Kat's
ReplyDeleteWow! Can he come live at my house? I would love to have someone make breakfast for me in the morning, instead of dragging myself out of bed to make my son cereal. I am not a morning person at all, as you can probably tell!
ReplyDeleteMy son is so NOT a morning person. My girls on the other hand are. Middle is even starting to get breakfasts ready for us and love to make my morning cup of coffee. Even though I'd rather be in bed like the boy. :)
