Wednesday December 28, 2011 - How I want to spend New Years Eve
Well, I know how I would like to spend my New Year's Eve... and I know how I will end up spending it.
I would love to go out somewhere fancy, with someone terrific, hanging out and enjoying the time. And then finding a special way to ring in the new year. I will, on the other hand, be home, with my son, watching movies and eating shrimp in cocktail sauce. I will fight to keep my eyes open until midnight, when we will channel-surf and watch the ball drop (on many channels) and then go to bed.
I figure that if I watch the ball drop in NYC that counts, and I can go to bed. I will be watching the ball drop somewhere in the world with my daughter, grandson just home from the hospital and my dog. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteI'll be having a comfy night at home with the fam! I'd love to go out somewhere fun and fancy the night before, though. It's my birthday, but I will be happily satisfied with just being together with my hubby and babes. Happy New Year to you!
ReplyDeleteHahah, the way I want to spend New Year's and the way I will are complete opposites, too! Oh well, that's the way it goes. My neighbors will most likely wake my toddler up and drive my dogs crazy with fireworks, yay! Lol, Happy New Year.
